“Pottery is a beautiful marriage of nature and art. I am in awe of how we can take raw materials and bring them to life. I find it remarkable that a pot, a static object, can contain so much movement. If one of my pots can stir emotion, nostalgia, memory and/or joy, to me, it is work that sings. I strive to make pots that inspire.” -Jason

Jason was born in the small town of Tequisquiapan, Mexico and moved to the small town of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin when he was six years old. He worked as a professional stage actor for over 15 years.

He now lives happily in Asheville with his amazing wife, brilliant daughter, sweet pups Coco and Ozzy, and 9 boisterous chickens. He works full time as a potter.
