I grew up in Sandy Mush NC. Growing up on a working cattle farm sparking my interest in handcrafted leather items like knife sheaths, tooled saddles, tack, and gun slings. In 2010, I decided to explore the intricacies of leather craft and enrolled in a class sponsored by local craftsman Kevin Adams. Since then, I have taken several classes, both in-person and online, participated in leather craft shows and contests, and have worked hard to hone my craft. I enjoy studying the Sheridan style of leather carving and closely follow the work and techniques of artist Chan Geer. Today, I enjoy drawing and tooling leather pieces in the Sheridan style as well as designing custom leatherwork for customers including wallets, notebook covers, lamps, cigar boxes, gun slings, guitar straps, tote bags, clutches, belts and more!
