I grew up in Florida in the small town of Ormand Beach. It was such a nice place to be a kid in the 50's. There was a river and creeks near by which I dug clay out of the banks. That was my first experience working with clay. Little did I know at that young age how that would shape the rest of my life.

What has the most influence in my work today is... my past. I have a BA in chemistry and an MFA in ceramics and wood design. All those studies and travels throughout the US and Europe have had a major influence on my work today.

Today I make functional pots. Some wheel thrown and some slab. I love what I do. I have fun with it and every piece is one of a kind!
